A new addition to the Things that Suck List

I had a horrible experience in your store at the Streets of Southpoint in Durham today. When asked for assistance both the employees and the management were unhelpful and disrespectful.

One of the employees called me stupid to another employee as she walked away from me. After my friend complained to the manager, I saw the employee and the manager discussing the situation in front of a customer at the counter.

Both refused to give me their names or the contact information for the district manager.

A third uninvolved employee, Velaka Cox gave me her name, the names of the two involved: Nikki and Lisa, and the store contact info. I had to call the corporate office to find out the information for the District Manager. I have left him a voicemail and hope for a return call.

I've been a long-time customer of Rack Room and had entered the store to buy a christmas gift for my sister, my wedding shoes and to select the shoes for my wedding attendents. That business and all of my future business will be with another establishment. I cannnot support a company that does not value their customers.

I was disappointed in the employee who called me stupid but was more disappointed that the store manager handled the situation so poorly. As representatives of your company, they painted a very disturbing picture of Rack Room's priorities and values.
